Gouache is my most used medium. The paint is very similar to watercolor, in that it can be reactivated by water and thinned out to give a light, simple look. But without the use of much water, Gouache paint is much thicker than watercolor. I love how vibrant this medium can make paintings.
Watercolor can give off a very soft, dreamy look. My favorite aspect of this medium is its ability to show beauty in simplicity. When it comes to painting with watercolor, it takes some practice to figure out how to layer the paint to bring out its best values.
Graphite Pencils are my current medium for drawing people portraits. I have not yet ventured into painting people, but it should come soon! I really love the grayscale look graphite pencils give portraits.
This is something I offer in any of my mediums! The bookmarks in the example picture were done with watercolor. Custom bookmarks could be a great option for a bookclub, group of bookworm friends, or just as a gift for anyone who likes reading!
